### Categories
Forum topics can be added to categories, which we use to structure conversations. Categories can be public or private:
**Public* categories and their topics can be visible by any visitor
**Private* categories and their topics can only be visible by users of groups which have given access to the category
### Groups
Registered users can join groups, either by invitation by their moderators, or by requesting access.
