## From "First Login" to "Call for Participation"
The first thing you will be asked to do when you log in to frab for the first time is to create a new conference. This is pretty straight forward and the form is documented well enough. As it says in the form, pay some attention to your timeslot duration!

After you've submitted that form you will be able to edit the details of your conference. The first thing I would suggest to you is to [create Themes](theme-creation) and [Subcategories](subcategory-creation) since these will be necessary to submit Events.

I did not implement checks on weather or not an object depends on another object in the Database, so please be CAREFUL and PUT SOME THOUGHT into creation of your themes and subcategories. Once they have been created and there events associated with them, deleting a subcategory or a theme is not a good idea and might end in disaster. **So don't**. Just don't. **Ok? Don't :)**

After you've set up themes and subcategories we finally can go ahead and start the Call for Participation. What is a Call for Participation? The Call for Participation will allow Submitters to register with the platform and will give them the interface to submit sessions. At the moment, only the submission of special sessions (either academic or research in action) is possible. Remember: There is only ONE CALL FOR PARTICIPATION PER CONFERENCE. So we will need to "hack around" in it to allow for the several stages of submission of DG2016.

To Launch the CfP, click on "Launch Call for Participation" (who had thought?) and fill in the Form. Off you go! You will be provided with a link for you submitters to click and to start submitting sessions. |
